PettyPoints uses Apple's CloudKit to store your data. All scores, crimes, rules, disputes, and household information are stored exclusively in your iCloud account. We do not operate any server, database, or backend that stores your personal data. We have no technical ability to access, view, or sell your data.
The following data is created and stored within your iCloud account when you use PettyPoints:
This data syncs between devices signed into the same iCloud account and between household members via CloudKit's public database.
Photos you attach to crime logs are stored as encrypted assets within your iCloud container. They sync between your devices and your partner's device. They are never transmitted to or stored on any server we operate.
When you invite friends to vote as jurors, they can cast anonymous votes via a web page. Jury votes are stored in CloudKit's public database. Votes contain only a random anonymous token and the vote choice — no personal information is collected from jurors.
PettyPoints does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage, collect device fingerprints, or share data with advertisers.
If you sign up for launch notifications on our website, your email address is collected via Formspree and stored separately from the app. We use it only to notify you about the app launch. You can unsubscribe at any time.
If you contact us through the support form, your email and message are received via Formspree and handled by our team. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Since your data lives in your iCloud account, you can delete it at any time by removing the app and its associated iCloud data through your device's Settings. We cannot delete your data because we do not have access to it.
PettyPoints is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
