By downloading, installing, or using PettyPoints ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
PettyPoints is a competitive accountability game for couples and housemates. Users create households, log events ("crimes" and "credits"), dispute charges, and compete for weekly scores. The App is for entertainment purposes only.
PettyPoints does not require account creation. The App uses your Apple ID and iCloud account to store and sync data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.
Users may upload photos and text notes ("Evidence") within the App. You agree not to upload content that is:
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content. While we cannot access your data directly (it lives in your iCloud account), Apple may enforce their own content policies on iCloud-stored content.
PettyPoints offers one-time, non-subscription in-app purchases:
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and are non-transferable.
New users receive 28 days of full access at no cost. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, a paywall appears. No data is deleted — purchasing restores full access to all existing data.
Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled. In summary: all data stays on your iCloud account. We operate no server and have no access to your data.
PettyPoints is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The scores, streaks, and results within the App are for entertainment purposes only. We are not responsible for any disputes, arguments, or relationship consequences resulting from the use of this App. Play nice. Or don't — that's kind of the point.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PettyPoints and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
